MLS Preview from The Sports Network

Kansas City (3-4-2) at Real Salt Lake (3-5-2), 9 p.m.

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Wizards play the last game of a six-game road trip that has seen them go winless in the last four Major League Soccer fixtures when they travel to Salt Lake City to take on Real Salt Lake at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday.

The Wizards are coming off a 3-1 loss at the Los Angles Galaxy, and will be looking to rebound against an RSL team that is also struggling.

"We were very, very good in the first half. I thought we started the game extremely well. We were dictating the pace of the game. I thought we played some very great soccer all through the first half," Kansas City coach Curt Onalfo said after the loss at L.A. "The Galaxy kind of took it to us in the second half and we just kind of hit a wall."

The Wizards started the season 2-1-1, all at home, and look forward to returning to the friendly confines of their home stadium after Saturday.

"Considering the situation that we're in in the league right now where we've dropped a few games, certainly we'd like to get back on the winning track," Wizards midfielder Kerry Zavagnin said.

RSL is coming off a 3-1 victory over the expansion San Jose Earthquakes and boast an undefeated 3-0-2 home record this season.

"It's real important when you play in any league that your home form is good," RSL forward Kenny Deuchar said. "That's obviously five games, six if you include the [U.S.] Open Cup game, that we're undefeated at home. We've got a lot of good wins right here as well. We've got to concentrate on keeping this place a very hard place to come to. Teams don't like coming here, and if they know we are good at home they're going to like it even less."

Both teams will be looking for points Saturday considering they are both second-from-the-bottom in their respective conference tables.
