MLS Preview from The Sports Network

Houston (0-1-1) at Kansas City (2-1-0), 8 p.m.

Kansas City, KS (Sports Network) - The back-to-back defending Major League Soccer Champions will be searching for their first league win of the season when they travel to take on the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

Both teams are coming off losses Wednesday night, with the Wizards losing to the New England Revolution in league action and the Dynamo losing to Costa Rican side Saprissa in CONCACAF Champions' Cup action.

"We had an awful lot of chances to make sure that we were in the game, at least to probably get a tie," Kansas City coach Curt Onalfo said after his team's loss. "Unfortunately things didn't go our way tonight. The important thing is that we have a game on Saturday, so we have to regroup and get our guys in the right mindset to play against the defending champion Houston Dynamo."

Houston earned a draw after rookie Geoff Cameron scored in stoppage time against Dallas in the team's last league fixture last weekend.

"We are happy with the point. You always want to come out with three, but with all the circumstances, to score so late," Kinnear said. "There were some things that need to be pointed out and worked on, but I think the attitude of guys was great today."

The Dynamo will be without starting goalkeeper Pat Onstad, who was injured against Dallas, meaning backup Tony Caig will be counted on to hold the fort in net.

The Wizards could see the return of Davy Arnaud, who is listed a probable on the injury report after offseason knee surgery.
