Dallas (0-0-1) at Houston (0-1-0), 3 p.m.
Houston, TX (Sports Network) - FC Dallas will be looking for its first ever win in Houston on Sunday when the two Major League Soccer rivals meet at Robertson Stadium.
The Hoops are 0-4 in league fixtures at Robertson in the two years since the Dynamo have been in Houston, meaning they will be hungry to break that streak.
The Dynamo, on the other hand, are just hungry for a goal after being held scoreless this past Saturday in a 3-0 loss at New England, and at home in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup semifinal series vs. Deportivo Saprissa four days later.
"If people want to say we were good, I'd raise some eyebrows at that because that's a very untrue statement," Houston coach Dominic Kinnear said after the loss in New England. "We weren't good tonight. I'm not going to say we should've won or should've come out with a point. We deserved to get beat tonight."
The Hoops are coming off a 1-1 draw with Chivas USA in their last league fixture with a late equalizer forced them to share the points.
"I think a tie was probably a fair result but we should have had three points," FC Dallas coach Steve Morrow said after the match. "Giving up a goal so late was very disappointing but overall, Chivas played very well."
The Dynamo will be without Ricardo Clark for one more game because of a suspension he earned last season while midfielders Brad Davis (groin), Brian Mullan (knee) and Stuart Holden (ankle) are all doubtful.
Dallas, on the other hand, will get a couple players back from suspensions and injury, which should improve its chances of breaking its streak of losses in Houston.
Ricardinho should make his return to the lineup from injury.
"I think he will be available," Morrow said of the Brazilian. "He's recovered quicker than we thought and that's great news."
Arturo Alvarez and Drew Moor will return from suspensions earned in last year's playoff loss to Houston.
"It's a game that I look forward to. I'm ready to go. I can't wait for Sunday to come and I'm sure Arturo (Alvarez) feels the same way," Moor said. "We both feel as though we let the team down a little bit and it's a good place to start this year to maybe redeem ourselves."
