NHL Game Summary - Anaheim at Dallas

Final Score: Anaheim 2 - Dallas 1

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Todd Bertuzzi's goal with 27.2 seconds left in regulation lifted the Anaheim Ducks to a 2-1 win over the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.

Scott Niedermayer also scored, and Ryan Getzlaf had a pair of assists for the Ducks, who have won three in a row. Anaheim, with 92 points on the season, stayed in the fourth position in the Western Conference playoff standings, and put some space between itself and Dallas, in fifth with 89.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 20-of-21 shots for the Ducks, who also kept pace in the Pacific Division. The remain five points behind first-place San Jose, which beat Minnesota on Wednesday in a shootout. The two teams meet on Friday in San Jose.

Brenden Morrow scored the lone goal for the Stars, whose freefall continued with a third consecutive loss, and sixth loss in seven games. Marty Turco gave up both goals on 17 shots in defeat.

"It's been a tough stretch, not playing the way we can, and it comes down to all of us doing all we can to help this team win," Turco said. "We have to keep battling and we need to keep faith in each other."

With the game tied late in the third period, Anaheim killed off a Dallas power play with Bobby Ryan sitting in the box for goaltender interference. Then the Ducks went a man up after Morrow was whistled for interference, having collided -- somewhat unintentionally -- with an Anaheim player.

Bertuzzi got the puck in the right circle near the net, and shoveled a backhander at Turco. The goaltender was in position, but the disc trickled up his arm and blocker, falling to the ice over the goal line for the game- winner.

"I'm in a bad mood right now, very frustrated," Morrow said. "I don't like to see a game decided by something that light, we were in our lanes and ran into each other. We made it close, but close isn't going to get you very far. Right now, I don't take any positives out of this."

Morrow got the Stars on board first with a short-handed goal. Turco whipped the puck around the boards to clear it, and Morrow picked it up in the neutral zone. He raced past the Anaheim defense, snapping it between Giguere's pads, 12:44 into the game.

At 4:08 of the second frame, Niedermayer tied the game on the power play, and it was scoreless until the final minute.
