NHL Game Summary - St. Louis at Nashville
Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - Shea Weber's power-play blast 40 seconds into overtime sent Nashville over St. Louis, 2-1, at Sommet Center.
Scott Nichol also scored for the Predators, winners in three of their last four outings. Dan Ellis needed just 18 stops to register his 14th win of the season.
Yan Stastny tallied for the Blues, who have dropped four of six and were outshot 44-19 in the game.
Manny Legace took the loss despite a 42-save performance.
Stastny picked up the lone goal of the opening 20 minutes, and thanks to 30 saves from Legace, the Blues nursed a one-goal lead through two periods.
Nashville came at their foes furiously in the third period, amassing a 13-0 shot advantage, but didn't hit the net until Nichol knotted the game with 8:20 left in regulation, firing home from the right circle for his eighth of the season.
