St. Louis Blues (28-23-9) at Anaheim Ducks (34-23-7), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks resume a seven-game homestand tonight when they play host to the St. Louis Blues tonight at the Honda Center.

The Ducks dropped the first game of the residency last Friday to Pacific Division rival Dallas but have since rebounded with wins over Calgary and Colorado.

Anaheim was last in action on Wednesday, knocking off Colorado, 3-2, in a shootout. Corey Perry scored the only goal of the final segment, as he skated down the right wing in the first round and slipped the puck between the pads of Peter Budaj. After Wojtek Wolski and Marek Svatos missed for Colorado, Ryan Getzlaf had the chance to win it for Anaheim, but his shot rang off the post. Jean-Sebastien Giguere denied Milan Hejduk in the third round to secure the win.

Teemu Selanne and Rob Niedermayer scored in regulation for the Ducks, who are 7-1-0 since Selanne put off retirement to rejoin the team. He has two goals and three assists so far this year.

Ryan Getzlaf posted an assist to give him a goal and five helpers over a five- game point streak. However, the club lost rookie Ryan Carter to a bruised right forearm in the first period and he is listed as day-to-day.

Giguere made 26 saves in the win. He is 11-6-1 with a tie and 2.30 goals- against average in 20 career starts against the Blues.

The Ducks have pulled within four points of the Stars for the top spot in the Pacific. Anaheim is 18-8-4 as the host and will still welcome Chicago, Calgary and Ottawa on this stand.

The Blues, meanwhile, are battling inconsistency between the pipes. Manny Legace was shelled for four goals on 19 shots in Thursday's 5-1 setback to Los Angeles before getting pulled in the second frame. He was replaced by Chris Beckford-Tseu, who made his NHL debut and stopped eight shots down the stretch.

Martin Rucinsky got the lone goal, while Lee Stempniak and Erik Johnson each had assists as the Blues lost for the second time in six games. St. Louis is 11th in the NHL, five points out of a playoff spot.

After a rough stretch that saw Legace go 2-5-3 in 11 starts from January 13- February 10, he rebounded to win four of his next five starts while allowing just seven goals in that span. However, he struggled last night and will aim to return to form tonight against an Anaheim club that he is 10-1-0 against with a tie and 1.82 GAA in 15 career appearances.

He shut the Ducks out in his most recent start against them, a 1-0 shootout win on February 1, turning aside 30 shots.

The Blues have lost eight of their last 10 on the road and began a three-game road trip last night. St. Louis is 10-13-4 as the visiting team this year and will play in Phoenix on Sunday.

The Blues have won both of their matchups so far against the Ducks this season, though Anaheim has won six of the last nine in the series. This will be the first meeting between the clubs in Anaheim, where the Blues have lost seven of their last eight.
