Dallas Stars (25-17-5) at Anaheim Ducks (24-17-6), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Anaheim Ducks will try to extend their season-high home winning streak tonight, as they wrap a four-game residency with a visit from the Pacific Division-rival Dallas Stars tonight at the Honda Center.

The Ducks have won the first three games of their current stand and five of their last six overall to get within three points of San Jose, which leads the Pacific Division with 57 points. Dallas is two back of the Sharks.

Anaheim, which has won its last six at home, has been finding the back of the net on its current residency, defeating Nashville, 5-2, last Monday before blanking Toronto, 5-0, on Wednesday.

The Ducks then got a breather before skating again on Sunday and posting a 4-3 overtime win over the Sharks. Doug Weight tied the game with 27.7 seconds left in regulation on a lucky deflection and Francois Beauchemin won it 33 seconds into overtime.

With Jean Sebastien-Giguere pulled for an extra attacker, Weight held the puck along the right boards and then fired it toward the crease. The disc deflected off the right skate of Alexei Semenov and past Thomas Greiss.

In the opening moments of the extra session, Todd Marchant fed a pass from the right circle to the left side for Beauchemin's successful deflection between the pads of Greiss.

Corey Perry tallied in his third straight game, while Todd Bertuzzi also scored for the Ducks. Giguere made 26 saves, as Anaheim moved to 5-0-1 against the Sharks this season.

Ryan Getzlaf had an assist to extend his point streak to 10 games, tied for the longest active current stretch in the NHL. He has four goals and nine assists in that span.

Anaheim is 15-6-4 as the home team this year and begin a three-game road trip on Thursday in Nashville.

Dallas won the opener of its five-game road trip last Wednesday, but has dropped its last two on the swing. That includes a 4-3 shootout loss to Los Angeles on Saturday.

Los Angeles' Anze Kopitar scored on the first attempt of the shootout with a quick backhander, but no one scored for either team until the final shot in the third round. Antti Miettinen barely beat Jason LaBarbera with his five- hole shot that squeezed through, and was upheld on review.

In the fourth round, Patrick O'Sullivan ripped the disc over Marty Turco's blocker, and LaBarbera turned away Mike Ribeiro's shot to preserve the win.

Matt Niskanen, Jeff Halpern, and Loui Eriksson scored goals for the Stars, who have lost six of their last eight. Turco stopped 26 shots in defeat. Mike Modano had an assist and has five helpers over his last three games.

Dallas is 12-10-3 as the road trip this year and wraps the trek with a big game in San Jose on Thursday.

The Stars have won all three meetings with the Ducks so far this season, four in a row overall, and six of the last seven meetings in the series. Dallas' 5-0 victory in Anaheim on November 5 halted a three-game series road losing streak.
