Columbus Blue Jackets (11-10-4) at Calgary Flames (10-13-3), 10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - A pair of teams coming off poor bad months will try to turn over a new leaf in the first game of December, as the Calgary Flames welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Saddledome.

The Flames posted a dismal 4-10-0 record during November and Columbus was just 7-7-3 during the month. Calgary has dropped three in a row coming into tonight's contest, while the Blue Jackets are coming off back-to-back setbacks.

Calgary is coming off Thursday's home setback to the Anaheim Ducks. Jean- Sebastien Giguere turned away 38 shots in Anaheim's 4-1 win, ruining a landmark day for Flames captain Jarome Iginla.

Iginla played in his 804th career game -- all with the Flames -- becoming the all-time leader in regular-season games played with the club. He passed Al MacInnis, who logged 803 games in a Calgary sweater.

On the night that Iginla moved into Calgary's record books, he assisted on the only Flames score, Alex Tanguay's first-period goal. Iginla is having another excellent year and is leading the Flames this year in goals (13) and points (34).

Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 22 shots for Calgary, which has dropped five of its last seven.

The Flames are playing the second test of a four-game homestand tonight and are 6-7-2 at the Saddledome this year. They will also welcome St. Louis and Pittsburgh during the residency.

As for the Blue Jackets, they are coming off Thursday's shutout loss in Vancouver. Roberto Luongo used 25 saves to record his third consecutive shutout and the Canucks blanked Columbus, 2-0 at GM Place.

Fredrick Norrena allowed two goals on 21 shots for the Blue Jackets, who had won two in a row before dropping their last two contests. Norrena is playing in place of starter Pascal Leclaire, who left Monday's 3-1 loss to Edmonton in the second period with a hamstring injury. Leclaire has resumed practicing with the team, but will likely sit out tonight's contest as well.

The Blue Jackets, who are just 4-7-2 as the visiting team this year, are completing a three-game road trip tonight.

Columbus has won four of the last six encounters with the Flames, but Calgary has taken six of the last 10 meetings. The Blue Jackets haven't fared well at the Saddledome, as they've dropped two straight, five of six and eight of their previous 11 tests in Calgary.
