Tallahassee, FL (Sports Network) - Preston Parker ran for 133 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries to lead the Florida State Seminoles past the Maryland Terrapins, 24-16, in ACC play at Doak S. Campbell Stadium.

Drew Weatherford threw for 204 yards and a score and he ran for another touchdown for FSU (7-4, 4-4 ACC), which clinched its 31st straight winning campaign. De'Cody Fagg was hit main target, as he hauled in four balls for 68 yards and a score.

Chris Turner led the way for Maryland (5-6, 2-5) with 242 yards on 16-of-32 tosses. He also threw a touchdown and an interception, as the Terps fell to 0-9 all-time against FSU in Tallahassee.

FSU opened the game's scoring with one-yard touchdown run by Weatherford at the 9:30 point of the first quarter.

Maryland put its first points on the board with 5:53 to play in the opening quarter, as Obi Egekeze nailed a 46-yard field goal

With 3:39 to play in the first quarter, the Seminoles extended their advantage to 14-3 courtesy of a Parker 18-yard touchdown run.

Just 44 seconds into the second period, Weatherford threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Fagg to give FSU a 21-3 lead.

Egekeze hit a 29-yard field goal with 9:43 left in the first half, but Maryland went into the break trailing, 21-6.

The Terps made it a 21-13 game behind a 14-yard touchdown pass from Turner to Darrius Heyward-Bey at the 5:55 mark of the third quarter.

The Seminoles countered in the fourth quarter with a Gary Cismesia 30-yard field goal at the 9:20 point.

Egekeze connected on a 37-yard field goal with 2:58 left in the game, but the Terps would get no closer in a 24-16 setback.

With the outcome, Bobby Bowden won his 300th career game at FSU and his 373rd overall.
