Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Dan Kelly's 45-yard field goal with 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter kept 13th-ranked Hawaii undefeated and sent the Warriors to a 28-26 victory over Nevada at Mackay Stadium.

Facing a one-point deficit, Hawaii took over at its own 12-yard-line with 2:16 to play, and Tyler Graunke moved the ball quickly downfield, completing three passes to Davone Bess and three to Ryan Grice-Mullen.

Graunke then hit C.J. Hawthorne for a five-yard gain to the Nevada 27, and Kelly lined up for a 45-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining. Although the ball sailed through the uprights, it was ruled no play as Nevada called its last timeout. Nevada stopped play again with its last timeout.

Kelly's second attempt was again true, and after Alex Rosenblum returned the ensuing kickoff to the 37, Wolf Pack quarterback Colin Kaepernick was intercepted on the final play of the game to seal the win for Hawaii.

"I'm proud of the guys," said Hawaii head coach June Jones. "We're a championship football team. We're going to show up next week and the week after."

Graunke finished 33-of-46 for 358 yards and a pair of touchdowns and added a rushing score for the Warriors (10-0, 7-0 WAC), who, along with Kansas, are the lone unbeaten teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Hawaii faces another tough test in Boise State, also undefeated in the conference, next Friday.

Hawaii star QB Colt Brennan, who was suffering from a mild concussion suffered last week, threw just two passes.

Bess caught 12 balls for 137 yards, Hawthorne added 112 yards on five receptions, and Grice-Mullen had 10 catches for 79 yards and one touchdown. Hawthorne had five receptions for 112 yards.

Kaepernick completed just 9-of-20 passes for 134 yards and one score for the Wolf Pack (5-5, 3-3), who saw their three-game win streak halted and failed to become bowl-eligible.

Luke Lippincott rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, adding a pair of catches for 28 yards and a TD in the loss.

"We had our chances, our offense just could not move the ball at the end when we needed it," Nevada coach Chris Ault said. "They were able to move the ball and convert."

After giving up a 12-point lead and trailing by one after three, Hawaii snapped back to attention early in the fourth.

On a drive which bridged the third and fourth quarters, Graunke found Grice- Mullen for a 22-yard touchdown pass which put the Warriors ahead. The two- point conversion pass was batted down at the line, and Hawaii had to settle for a 25-20 advantage with 13:35 left.

After trading failed possessions, the Wolf Pack took the lead as Lippincott rushed for a five-yard TD, but the conversion pass also failed and it was a 26-25 game with 8:27 to play.

On the next series, Graunke lost the football and Nevada recovered at the Warriors' 44-yard-line, but Arthur King fumbled on the next play and Hawaii recovered. The Wolf Pack defense held on a key fourth-down, and got the ball back at their own 46, but couldn't advance the ball.

That set the stage for Hawaii's climactic final drive.

"That was a total team victory right there," Graunke said. "We never won in Reno, and I really wanted to step up and prove to my team and help them rally."

Hawaii went up 3-0 the first series of the game, as Kelly was good from 45 yards out, then added a safety as David Veikune sacked Kaepernick in the end zone.

It was 12-0 for the visitors when Graunke finished off a nine-play, 64-yard drive by hitting Jason Rivers for a three-yard score three seconds into the second quarter.

Nevada finally got untracked on the next series when Lippincott hauled in a 22-yard strike to make it 12-7.

The Warriors took a 19-7 lead with 5:13 left in the half as Graunke plunged up the middle for a seven-yard rushing TD.

Brett Jaekle hit a 41-yard field goal with 53 seconds to play to bring Nevada within 19-10, and the nine-point margin stood at intermission.

Nevada's first drive of the second half proved fruitful, as Jaekle made a 42- yarder to bring the Pack within six.

Their next series yielded the go-ahead score as Kaepernick capped a 17-play, 90-yard drive by just sneaking inside the left pylon for a three-yard touchdown. Jaekle hit the extra point, and Nevada led 20-19 with 2:43 left in the third quarter.
