Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Sam Bradford passed for 353 yards and three touchdowns on 20-of-25 passing, with one interception, to help fourth-ranked Oklahoma dominate Baylor, 52-21.

DeMarco Murray rushed for three touchdowns and 95 yards, and returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the second quarter, as Oklahoma won its fifth in a row. Manuel Johnson also caught four passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns, and the Sooners (9-1, 5-1 Big 12) stayed atop the Big 12 South standings.

Brandon Whitaker rushed for 149 yards and one touchdown, and also had 10 receptions for 68 yards, as Baylor (3-8, 0-7) extended its losing streak to seven games. Blake Szymanski was 25-of-42 passing for 280 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss.

Saturday's game was an offensive showdown between quick-strike attacks, as the teams combined for 983 total yards and six touchdowns longer than 40 yards. Though, despite all the numbers, neither team could score until late in the first quarter.

Whitaker got Baylor the initial lead on a 46-yard touchdown run up the middle with 4:56 left in the stanza, and the fireworks began. Oklahoma scored two touchdowns in the final 2:16 of the first.

Murray scored on a 25-yard run up the middle, breaking a half-dozen tackles along the way, and Bradford connected with Malcolm Kelly on a 51-yard pass. The second score, coming with 1:08 left in the first quarter, gave Oklahoma a 14-7 lead. The Sooners, in fact, outscored the Bears 14-7 in each of the first three quarters.

"Sam Bradford was exceptional again today. Those deep balls could not have been any better," Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said. "Manuel Johnson had a fantastic night. It's good to see him do so well. DeMarco Murray again was just fabulous. Those guys were really solid."

Just 4:36 into the second quarter, Murray added his scored touchdown, a one- yard run that capped a six-play drive. Bradford highlighted the series with a 43-yard pass to Jermaine Gresham.

The teams went scoreless until the final minute of the first half, when Szymanski connected with Thomas White on a 75-yard touchdown. Murray added his third touchdown of the evening on the ensuing kickoff, taking it 91 yards for the score.

Initially, Murray paused upon catching the ball, looking for potential running lanes. He went forward and stopped, turned directions, avoided multiple tackles, and eventually sprinted his way up the right sideline for the touchdown. Oklahoma went into halftime with the 28-14 lead.

Not three minutes into the second half, the Sooners struck again, when Bradford aired a pass to Johnson down the right sideline. Johnson caught the ball, shed an ankle tackle, and dashed into the end zone from 60 yards out.

Oklahoma made it three straight scores when Bradford again hit Johnson, this time for 13 yards, with 3:48 left in the third quarter. That made the score 42-14, Sooners.

"We came out playing hard but we didn't put four quarters together. We had too many turnovers and those killed us. I felt like we played with a lot of heart today and we got a lot better," Whitaker said.

Szymanski ended the third quarter scoring with a 42-yard strike, again to White. But. in the fourth quarter, Oklahoma kept Baylor scoreless. The Sooners added two more scores in the last period of play - a 27-yard field goal off the leg of Garrett Hartley, and a 21-yard touchdown run by Murray, with 2:48 left on the clock.
