Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Redshirt freshman Sam Bradford threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns as the third-ranked Oklahoma Sooners dismantled Utah State, 54-3.
Bradford finished 19-of-26 with an interception and junior wideout Juaquin Iglesias caught eight passes for 123 yards to lead the receiving corps for Oklahoma (3-0), which also got six catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns from Malcolm Kelly.
"Sam puts the ball in great spots," said Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops. "He throws a catchable ball and doesn't try to beat anyone up with it. He has a great touch and I am pleased with him and I think he has done a great job seeing the field and hitting his second and third options."
Allen Patrick carried eight times for 113 yards and a score, while DeMarco Murray rushed four times for 100 yards and a TD. Iglesias also gained 29 yards on the ground and added a score for the Sooners, who have steam rolled opponents by a combined 184-26 margin in the first three weeks of the season.

"It definitely felt good getting out there and playing with those guys, but I wish things could have turned out a little better," said McCormick. "I just wanted to take care of the things I could take care of."

It was Oklahoma's game from the start, as the Sooners marched 65 yards in just four plays on their first possession. The drive was engineered by Bradford, who connected on three straight passes before Iglesias rushed 35 yards to the end zone.
A 48-yard completion to Iglesias on 3rd-and-8 jump-started the next OU scoring sequence, capped by Kelly's 27-yard TD reception with 6:47 in the first.
The Sooners put together another drive, spanning portions of the first and second stanzas, to up the lead as Bradford hit Joe Jon Finley with an 8-yard touchdown toss to make it 21-0.
Peter Caldwell booted a 30-yard field goal for the Aggies with 6:18 left in the second, as the team capitalized on Roy Hurst's interception of a Bradford pass at the Utah State 41.
Patrick rumbled 69 yards for a touchdown on OU's first play from scrimmage following the kickoff, stretching the lead to 28-3, and Kelly added a 17-yard TD catch with 1:05 remaining in the half.

Murray's 92-yard touchdown run solidified the rout with 8:59 remaining in the third, while Hartley added a 53-yard field goal to continue the thrashing.
"It felt great. I mean it came off my foot really well and it went right between the posts and it was a good feeling," Hartley said of the kick.
Oklahoma added its final score when Curtis Lofton picked off an errant Jackson pass attempt and returned it 45 yards with 4:09 left in the game.
