Montreal, QC (Sports Network) - Henry Burris threw for 302 yards on 28-of-37 passing with a touchdown and Sandro DeAngelis connected on 3-of-4 kicks, as the Calgary Stampeders edged the Montreal Alouettes, 23-19.

Ken-Yon Rambo caught seven balls for 51 yards and also had the touchdown for Calgary (2-1). Joffrey Reynolds ran the ball 14 times for 82 yards and also found the end zone once.

Anthony Calvillo tallied 341 yards and a touchdown on 21-of-37 passing for the Alouettes (2-1). Jamel Richardson caught two passes for 72 yards and a score while Damon Duval made good on 3-of-4 kicks and one conversion in the loss.

Montreal added a single with about four minutes left in the game and trailed 20-19, though Calgary was getting the ball back.

The Stampeders were driving and faced 3rd-and-2 when DeAngelis hit a 40-yard field goal to make it a four-point game with under 30 seconds remaining.

The Alouettes got the ball back on their own 35-yard line with 11 ticks showing on the clock and attempted two long bombs down the field, neither to any avail, before time expired.

Montreal opened the scoring less than three minutes into the game, as Duval booted a 30-yard field goal. The Alouettes added a single on their next possession and, as Richardson hauled in a 67-yard pass from Calvillo for a touchdown, they assumed an 11-0 advantage after one quarter of play.

Reynolds ran in an eight-yard touchdown to make it 11-7 with about 12 1/2 minutes left in the second quarter.

Duval hit two field goals the rest of the second frame, but DeAngelis also connected on a 25-yard kick, and it was 17-10 at the half.

Calgary tied the game at 17 when Rambo caught a pass from Burris just past the 12-minute mark of the third.

The Alouettes squeaked out a single, but DeAngelis connected on a 32-yard field goal late in the third, and it was 20-18 in favor of the Stampeders heading into the final quarter.
