Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Byron Eaton scored 20 points, on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor, leading the Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 77-63 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big 12 Conference clash at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Marcus Dove added 17 points for the Cowboys (16-12, 7-7 Big 12), who have now won five straight games. Obi Muonelo also chipped in with 12 points.
Aleks Maric led the way for Nebraska (17-10, 6-8), tallying 17 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. Steve Harley also added 17 points, while Ade Dagunduro checked in with 12 points.
OSU managed to grab a 31-27 halftime lead despite allowing the Cornhuskers to shoot a solid 55 percent from the floor in the frame.
The Cowboys pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 11-of-16 from the field and adding another 18 points from the foul line.
Three-point shooting was the difference in this contest, as OSU outscored Nebraska, 27-9 from long-distance.
