Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - Will Daniels scored 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Rhode Island Rams to a thrilling, 65-63 victory over the Fordham Rams in Atlantic 10 action at the Rose Hill Gym.
Jimmy Baron added 13 points for URI (20-4, 6-3 A-10), while Kahiem Seawright posted a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Parfait Bitee also tallied 11 points in the victory.
Marcus Stout led the way for Fordham (8-12, 2-6) with 19 points, while Bryant Dunston tallied 17 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
Fordham held URI to a pathetic 30.0 percent shooting effort from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a slim, 29-25 advantage.
The Rams of Rhode Island stormed back in the second stanza, netting 45.8 percent of their attempts from the field en route to the two-point win.
URI made 20-of-27 shots from the foul line in the contest, while Fordham connected on just 11-of-14 free throw attempts.
