Providence, RI (Sports Network) - Mark McAndrew scored a game-high 25 points as the Brown Bears defeated Dartmouth, 77-51, in Ivy League action at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Matt Mullery and Scott Friske both tallied nine points for the Bears (11-8, 3-2 Ivy) as they won their second straight and the third in the last four outings.
The Big Green (8-11, 1-4), losers of three in a row, were paced by Alex Barnett who tallied 10 points on just 5-of-16 shooting from the field.
Brown shot an astounding 70 percent from the field in the first half to streak out to a 37-23 lead at the break.
In the second half the Bears made good on 58.3 percent from the floor, compared to just 38.5 percent for Dartmouth, en route to the 26-point decision.
The Big Green turned the ball over 19 times and shot just 2-of-13 from three- point range on the night.
