NCAA Game Summary - Wright State at Cleveland State
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Vaughn Duggins and Todd Brown each recorded 12 points as the Wright State Raiders escaped the Wolstein Center with a 55-49 triumph over Horizon League foe Cleveland State.
Jordan Pleiman grabbed a game-high seven rebounds and Will Graham dished out seven assists as Wright State (16-6, 8-4 HL) posted its seventh straight win.
The Vikings (14-10, 7-5) have now lost five straight, as Joe Davis led the Vikings with 11 points. D'Aundray Brown and Cedric Jackson each logged 10 points apiece in defeat.
The Raiders sunk 47.8 percent of their shots from the field in the first half, including 5-of-11 from long range, to take a 30-24 lead at halftime.
In a slow-paced second half, Cleveland State was held to 28.1 percent shooting, including 2-of-12 from three-point range, en route to defeat.
Wright State simply wanted the game more, as it held the Vikings to 33.9 percent efficiency from the field and 23.8 percent from behind the arc.
