Nichols drained 8-of-12 from the field for Wofford's (14-9, 7-6 SoCon) sixth victory in its last seven games. Drew Gibson was the only other Terrier who reached double figures, finishing with 11 points and eight assists.

UNCG led by as many as 15 points midway through the first half, but the Terriers battled back to trail just 27-25 at intermission.
Wofford caught fire in the second frame, hitting 13-of-25 from the floor. Two Gibson free throws with three seconds left secured the three-point win.
