Morehead, KY (Sports Network) - The Morehead State Eagles remain perfect at home, as Jamyron Steward's 24 points led four players in double figures in a 75-63 victory over the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks in Ohio Valley Conference action.
Maze Stallworth and Leon Buchanan each deposited 14 points for MSU (12-10, 9-5 OVC), as Kenneth Faried rounded out the double-digit scorers with 13 points. Nikola Stojakovic continued his play-making ways with nine assists for the victors.
Kenard Moore drained 4-of-9 from behind the arc to pace the Redhawks (12-13, 7-8) with 17 points off the bench. Roderick Pearson added 15 points in the losing effort.
Southeast Missouri State actually led by nine points midway through the first stanza, but the Eagles' five three-pointers and 7-for-10 effort from the foul line put them ahead, 34-30, heading into the locker room.
Morehead State continued its prowess from the field over the final 20 minutes, connecting on 52.2 percent from the field and sinking 14-of-17 from the charity stripe to seal the 12-point win.
Both teams were sloppy with the ball, as the Redhawks turned it over 21 times compared to 19 mistakes for the Eagles.
