Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Othello Hunter scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Ohio State Buckeyes to a 65-55 victory over the Michigan Wolverines at the Value City Arena in Big Ten play.
Jon Diebler added 14 points for Ohio State (16-7, 7-3 BigTen), while Kosta Koufos and David Lighty both contributed 12 points apiece in the win. Jamar Butler tallied 10 points and dished out nine assists for Ohio State, which has won four of its last five games.
Kevin Grady was the only player in double-figures for Michigan (5-17, 1-9), as the guard finished with 11 points in the loss.
Michigan shot 44.0 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a slim 32-31 advantage.
The Buckeyes rallied in the second stanza, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor en route to the 10-point win.
Ohio State won the battle on the paint, outscoring Michigan by a 26-16 margin.
