Niagara, NY (Sports Network) - Charron Fisher poured in a game-high 31 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Niagara Purple Eagles to an 83-79 victory over the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the Gallagher Center.
Tyrone Lewis added 20 points for Niagara (14-7, 8-4 MAC), while Benson Egemonye and Stanley Hodge contributed 15 and 12 points, respectively.
Gerald Brown scored 30 points for Loyola-Maryland (13-11, 8-4), while Brian Randolph and Marquis Sullivan both chipped in 12 points apiece in the loss.
The Greyhounds connected on 7-of-12 attempts from behind the arc in the first half, and went into the break with a 39-33 advantage.
The Purple Eagles soared past Loyola in the second stanza, shooting 50.0 percent from the floor en route to the four-point win.
Niagara made 29-of-40 free throw attempts in the contest, while Loyola connected on 23-of-26 shots from the foul line.
