Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Joe Crawford scored 26 points to lead the Kentucky Wildcats to a 63-58 win over the Georgia Bulldogs in an SEC contest at Stegeman Coliseum.
Patrick Patterson also got involved for the Wildcats (10-9, 4-2 SEC) scoring 16 points to give the Wildcats their first true road win of the season.
The Bulldogs (11-8, 2-4) were led by Sundiata Gaines, who scored 15 points in the loss. Terrance Woodbury added 12 points and Dave Bliss chipped in with 10 for Georgia, which had its 11-game home winning streak snapped.
The Wildcats shot 12-of-28 from the floor in the first half, to take a 30-29 lead into the break.
Kentucky pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 63.2 percent from the floor, en route to a five-point win.
The Wildcats were sharp from the perimeter, connecting on 6-of-12 three-point attempts in the victory.
