Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Penn Quakers used a 20-point performance by Tyler Bernardini to grab a tough, 73-69 victory over the Harvard Crimson in an Ivy League tussle at the Palestra.
Brian Grandieri added 15 points and pulled down nine rebounds for Penn (6-12, 1-0 Ivy), which snapped a three-game losing skid.
Brad Unger netted 17 points for Harvard (6-13, 1-2), while Dan McGeary and Evan Harris contributed 15 and 11 points, respectively.
The Quakers held Harvard to just 35.7 percent shooting from the floor in the first half and went into the break with a 35-31 lead.
In the second stanza, Penn shot 46.7 percent from the field en route to the four-point win.
The Quakers dominated the glass in the contest, outrebounding Harvard by a 44-32 margin.
