Greg Logins added 14 points and eight rebounds for Canisius (4-17, 2-9 MAAC), while Elton Frazier and Bob Bevilacqua contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Jonathan Han posted 14 points for Fairfield (7-14, 5-6), while Mike Evanovich tallied 11 points, and Yorel Hawkins chipped in 10 in the losing effort.
The Golden Griffs connected on a staggering 12-of-16 attempts from behind the arc in the first half and went into the break with a commanding, 53-26 advantage.
Canisius continued its strong offensive performance by netting 55.0 percent of its shots from the field in the second stanza, en route to the 28-point win.
