NCAA Game Summary - Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Detroit
Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Chris Hayes scored 20 points to lead the Detroit Titans to a 72-61 win over the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers in Horizon League action at Calihan Hall.
Jon Goode scored 14 points for the Titans (5-15, 1-9 HL), while Woody Payne chipped in with 12 points in the victory. Michael Harrington also got involved, tallying 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Eulis Stephens added 11 points in the win.
The Panthers (12-9,7-4) were led by Paige Paulsen, who scored 14 points, and Ricky Franklin, who chipped in with 10 points.
UW-Milwaukee got out to a fast start, shooting 45 percent from the floor to take a 25-24 lead at the break.
The Titans stormed back in the second stanza, knocking down 50 percent of their field goal attempts to capture the 11-point victory.
Detroit dominated the Panthers in the post, outscoring UW-Milwaukee 36-14 in the paint.
