Stockton, CA (Sports Network) - Lorenzo Keeler scored 15 points to lead the Cal Poly Mustangs to a 69-64 victory over the Pacific Tigers in a Big West Conference tilt at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Trae Clark added 14 points for Cal Poly (8-11, 3-4 BigWest), while Dreshawn Vance and Matt Hanson contributed 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Steffan Johnson netted 21 points and dished out seven assists for Pacific (14-6, 5-2), while Casey Neimeyer tallied 14 points. Joe Ford chipped in 11 points in the loss.
The Mustangs shot a solid 50.0 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a commanding, 41-25 advantage.
The Tigers clawed their way back in the second stanza, but Cal Poly was able to hold off the late charge by netting 15-of-17 free throw attempts.
The Mustangs made 26-of-28 attempts from the foul line in the contest, while Pacific connected on just 12-of-20 shots from the charity stripe.
