Troy, AL (Sports Network) - Elijah Millsap netted a game-best 21 points and dolled our four assists, as the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns notched an 87-66 victory over the Troy Trojans in Sun Belt Conference play at Trojan Arena.
Travis Bureau came off the bench and tallied 16 points for the Cajuns (9-11, 5-4 SBC), who snapped a two-game slide. La'Ryan Gary posted 15 points and six boards, while Chris Gradnigo scored 10 points in the victory.
For Troy (9-11, 2-6), Justin Jonus tallied 15 points to lead the way. Jarvis Acker and Brandon Hazzard each logged 12 points, as the Trojans suffered their fifth loss in six outings.
ULL connected on 47.2 percent of its field goal tries in the first half and it held a small 41-40 edge at the break.
In the second stanza, the Cajuns shot 56.4 percent from the floor, as they pulled away for the 21-point victory.
ULL won the battle on the boards, 43-31, and that includes a 10-6 edge on the offensive glass.
