Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - Ben Stywall and Kyle Hines combined for 41 points in UNC Greensboro's 74-63 victory over The Citadel in Southern Conference action at McAllister Field House.
Hines once again recorded a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, and Stywall deposited a game-high 21 points in the Spartans' (12-6, 6-3 SoCon) third straight win. Davor Galic came off the bench to tally 13 points, while Kevin Oleksiak dished out eight assists to go along with nine points.
Austin Dahn connected on 4-of-5 three-pointers to lead the Bulldogs (5-14, 0-10) with 17 points and seven rebounds. Cameron Wells and Jon Brick chipped in with 13 and 11 points, respectively, in The Citadel's eighth straight setback.
The Bulldogs actually led 43-37 at the break after hitting 8-of-12 from three- point range in the first half.
The Citadel could not maintain its efficient shooting, hitting just 1-of-7 from long range in the second half. UNCG shot 40.7 percent from the field in the final frame en route to the nine-point win.
The Spartans caused 20 Bulldog turnovers and outrebounded their conference foes by seven boards (39-32).
