NCAA Game Summary - Texas A&M at Oklahoma State

Final Score: Texas A&M 59 - Oklahoma State 56

Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Dominique Kirk drained the go-ahead free throw with 44.1 seconds left, and No. 18 Texas A&M held on for a 59-56 win over Oklahoma State in a Big 12 clash.

Kirk finished with 11 points, while Josh Carter scored 13 for the Aggies (16-4, 2-3 Big 12), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Joseph Jones also scored 11 for Texas A&M, which rebounded from losing the longest game in Big 12 history, a 116-110 five-overtime defeat to Baylor on Wednesday.

James Anderson scored 15 points, drilling 4-of-6 three-pointers for the Cowboys (10-9, 1-4), who have dropped four straight. Ibrahima Thomas scored 13 points, but missed two crucial free throws late in regulation, and Obi Muonelo added 10 points for the Cowboys.

Byron Eaton gave OSU the lead with a three-pointer with just under four minutes remaining, putting the Cowboys on top 55-53. Anderson made one-of-two free throws a little more than a minute later to make it a three-point game.

Bryan Davis' layup pulled the Aggies within one, though, and after Marcus Dove missed a layup at the other end, Kirk was fouled and sank both free throws to put Texas A&M ahead 57-56.

Thomas had a chance to put the Cowboys back on top when he was fouled with 20.9 ticks left, but he missed both free throws. Donald Sloan missed the front end of a one-and-one at the other end, though, and OSU was still alive.

Anderson jacked up a quick three from the wing, and banged it short off the rim. Davis made two free throws with 3.9 seconds left to put the Aggies up by three.

Sloan snuffed out the last chance for the Cowboys, stealing the ensuing inbounds pass to end the game.

Texas A&M led the nip-and-tuck game, 34-32, at the half.
