Matt Stucki and Austin Kilpatrick added 15 points apiece for the Bengals (7-12, 4-2 Big Sky), who were coming off a road split, beating Montana but losing to Montana State. Logan Kinghorn chipped in with 11 points and 14 rebounds in the victory.
Loren Leath scored a game-high 21 points for the Hornets (3-16, 1-7 Big Sky), who have lost five straight. Justin Williams donated 15 points and Alonzo Young had 10 in defeat.
Idaho State shot 60.4 percent for the contest, while Sacramento State made just 36.1 percent of its shots.
