Tyrone Lewis added 25 points in the win as Niagara (12-6, 6-3 MAAC) snapped a two-game losing streak. Benson Egemonye added 13 points and 11 boards as the Purple Eagles won despite shooting just 32.4 percent from the field, thanks to a 25-of-30 night at the free throw line.
Darrell Lampley led the Peacocks with 16 points in defeat, while Nick Leon was the only other Peacock to register double figures, notching 12 points. St. Peter's (4-15, 1-8) saw its winless streak extend to six games, and committed 19 turnovers in the loss.
