Herbie Allen finished with 13 points, and Anthony Johnson had 12, and Fairfield (7-12, 5-4 MAAC) won its second straight. Han was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field, including four three-pointers for the Stags.
Frank Turner had 17 points, but no one else topped eight points for Canisius (3-16, 1-8), which has lost two in a row and six of seven. The Golden Griffins shot 27 percent from the field overall, 23.1 from three-point range, and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the free throw line.
Fairfield never actually trailed in the game, and had its first double-digit lead, at 16-6, less than nine minutes into the game. The Stags led 31-17 at halftime.
Fairfield extended its lead to 48-27 with 11:17 left in the game, on a Greg Nero layup, and the Stags cruised from there.
