Colorado Springs, CO (Sports Network) - Tim Anderson poured in a game-high 26 points to pace the Air Force Falcons in a 75-59 triumph over the Colorado State Rams in a Mountain West Conference battle at Clune Arena
Anderson knocked down 4-of-6 attempts from three-point range and 6-of-6 at the foul line, as Air Force (11-7, 3-2 MWC) won for third time in four games. Anwar Johnson logged 18 pints and six boards in the victory, while Andrew Henke chipped in with 11 points.
Marcus Walker led the way for the Rams (6-12, 0-4) with 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the floor. Jesse Woodard had 13 points, as Colorado State dropped its fifth straight outing.
The Falcons hit on 11-of-12 free throws in the first half and they took a slim 29-28 lead to the intermission.
In the second stanza, Air Force shot a sizzling 63.2 percent from the field, as it pulled away for the 16-point victory.
For the game, the Falcons sank 48.0 percent of their attempts from the floor and 29-of-32 at the foul line.
