Albany, NY (Sports Network) - Edwin Ubiles scored 20 points to lead the Siena Saints to a convincing, 77-49 victory over the Canisius Golden Griffs in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play at the Times Union Center.
Ubiles also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists for Siena (12-6, 7-1 MAAC), while Chris De La Rosa tallied 10 points in the win.
Frank Turner netted 15 points for Canisius (3-15, 1-7), while RiShawn Johnson chipped in 11 points in the loss.
The Saints shot 50.0 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a commanding, 42-26 advantage.
In the second stanza, Siena held Canisius to a pathetic 32.0 percent shooting effort from the floor en route to the 28-point victory.
The Saints made 8-of-21 attempts from behind the arc in the contest, while the Golden Griffs connected on only 2-of-14 attempts from long range.
