Missoula, MT (Sports Network) - Dezmon Harris hit a pair of free throws with 17 seconds remaining to lift the Weber State Wildcats to a 68-67 victory over the Montana Grizzlies in a Big Sky Conference clash.
Harris finished with 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting from behind the arc for Weber State (9-8, 4-1 Big Sky). Arturas Valeika netted 14 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Wildcats, who got 11 points from Daviin Davis.
Jordan Hasquet scored 16 points in the loss for Montana (7-11, 1-4), which got 14 points from Andrew Strait and 12 points from Ryan Staudacher.
Despite being outscored 9-2 to close out the first half, Weber State owned a 34-30 advantage at intermission.
Staudacher hit a three-pointer with just under nine seconds remaining in the contest to cut Weber State's lead to 68-67. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, they weren't able to get another shot off in the clash.
Weber State has now won its last four games, and the club stretched its all- time series lead over Montana to 53-47.
