Williamsburg, VA (Sports Network) - Laimis Kisielius tallied a game-high 17 points and nine rebounds, as the William & Mary Tribe fended off the Towson Tigers for a 61-51 Colonial Athletic Association victory.
Peter Stein finished with 15 points, helping push William & Mary (9-8, 5-2 CAA) to its fifth straight win. Nathan Mann and Danny Sumner scored 10 points apiece.
Tim Crossin came off the bench to score 14 points for the Tigers (6-11, 2-5), but he was the only Towson player in double figures.
William & Mary started the game with a 12-0 run, but the Tigers battled back and whittled down the deficit to 30-27 at the half.
Towson shot just 7-of-24 from the floor in the second stanza, which opened the door for William & Mary to improve to 8-1 at home all-time against Towson.
Towson was able to take care of the basketball for most of the game, committing only eight turnovers in the win.
