NCAA Game Summary - Southeast Missouri State at Tennessee Tech
Cookeville, TN (Sports Network) - Anthony Fisher posted a contest-high 21 points and dished out six assists, as the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles ran away from the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, 93-76, in Ohio Valley Conference play at the Eblen Center.
Amadi McKenzie registered a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Eagles (9-11, 6-4 OV), who won their third straight game. Frank Davis and Rashaud Nixon put forth 14 points apiece in the triumph, while Daniel Northern logged a double-double with 11 points and the same amount of rebounds.
Jaycen Herring headed the charge for SEMO (11-9, 6-4) with 17 points. Roderick Pearson netted 14 points and dolled out five helpers, while Kenard Moore and Will Bogan chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Eagles knocked down 41.7 percent of their attempts from the floor and 4- of-11 from long range in the first half, opening a 46-34 lead at the intermission.
In the second stanza, Tennessee Tech shot 51.6 percent from the floor, as it captured the 17-point victory.
For the game, the Eagles hit on 25-of-36 shots at the charity stripe, in addition to dominating the boards, 51-38.
