NCAA Game Summary - Manhattan at Siena
Albany, NY (Sports Network) - Kenny Hasbrouck turned in a game-high 17 points and ripped five boards to lead the Siena Saints past the Manhattan Jaspers, 69-56, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference battle at Times Union Center.
Hasbrouck nailed 4-of-8 shots from long range, as the Saints (11-6, 6-1 MAAC) won their third game in a row. Alex Franklin notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Edwin Ubiles logged 14 points and six boards in the victory.
Darryl Crawford came off the bench and scored 16 points to lead Manhattan (8-9, 2-5), which dropped its second straight outing.
Siena held Manhattan to a dismal 30.4 percent shooting effort from the field in the first half and it carried a 31-16 lead to the break.
In the second half, the Saints made good on 7-of-12 shots from long range, as they scored the 13-point victory.
For the game, Siena hit on 43.9 percent of its field goal tries and 10-of-23 from downtown.
