Bowling Green, OH (Sports Network) - The Falcons of Bowling Green used 20 points off the bench from Brian Moten to defeat Mid-American Conference foe Buffalo, 83-70, at Anderson Arena.
Otis Polk also came off the pine in the Falcons' (7-8, 2-1 MAC) victory, and posted a 13-point, 10-rebound effort. Darryl Clements and Joe Jakubowski each netted 13 points in the win.
The Bulls (6-9, 0-3) lost for the fourth time in as many games and remained winless in conference play. Andrew Atman and Andy Robinson led the way with 11 points each, while Calvin Betts tallied 10 points and seven rebounds.
The first half was all Bowling Green, as the Falcons hit 53.3 percent from the floor to lead 43-26 at the break.
The Bulls hit 17 field goals in the second half, but could never take the lead, as the Falcons again hit an efficient 54.5 percent from the field to run away with the 13-point win.
Buffalo outrebounded Bowling Green 43-32, but committed 25 turnovers and hit only 6-of-26 from behind the arc.
