Norfolk, VA (Sports Network) - Gerald Lee scored a game-high 19 points, as the Old Dominion Monarchs rolled to a 79-52 win over the James Madison Dukes in a Colonial Athletic Association tilt at the Constant Convocation Center.
Lee was the only double-digit scorer for ODU (9-9, 4-2 CAA), although 10 different Monarchs found the scoring column.
Heiden Ratner came off the bench to lead JMU (10-6, 3-3) with 14 points, while Terrance Carter pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
ODU shot 58.3 percent from the floor in the first half, as the Monarchs jumped out to a 33-23 halftime lead.
Already facing a double-digit deficit, JMU shot just 31.3 percent in the second half, while ODU sealed the easy win with another 50-percent shooting effort.
ODU put together a solid all-around effort, as the Monarchs' bench outscored the Dukes' bench, 39-21.
