Greenville, SC (Sports Network) - Stephen Curry scored 14 points to lead the Davidson Wildcats to a 73-51 win over the Furman Paladins in a Southern Conference tilt at Timmons Arena.
Boris Meno and Will Archambault gave the Wildcats (9-6, 7-0 SoCon) a boost off the bench, scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively. Jason Richards also got involved, tallying 11 points and eight assists.
The Paladins (2-15, 1-7) were paced by Alex Opacic, who scored 14 points and grabbed seven boards in the loss. Noah States added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Furman.
Davidson caught fire in the first half, knocking down six three-pointers and riding a 56-percent shooting effort to a 37-20 lead at the break.
The Wildcats pulled away in the second stanza, shooting 15-of-31 from the floor en route to the 22-point victory.
Davidson's bench was a major difference in this contest, as the Wildcats reserves outscored the Furman bench, 33-13 on the night.
