Waco, TX (Sports Network) - Henry Dugat dropped in 23 points to lead the Baylor Bears over the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 79-71, in a Big 12 showdown at the Ferrell Center.
Dugat made good on 3-of-4 three-point attempts and he also grabbed five boards, as Baylor (14-2, 2-0 Big12) won its third straight game. LaceDarius Dunn turned in 13 points and five boards in the win, while Tweety Carter and Aaron Bruce posted 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Terrel Harris scored 23 points and snared seven caroms to lead Oklahoma State (10-6, 1-1), but he also accounted for a team-high eight turnovers. Marcus Dove had 12 points and seven rebounds in the loss, while James Anderson and Byron Eaton chipped in with 11 points apiece. With the loss, the Cowboys saw their five-game win streak come to an end.
In the first half, Baylor used a 6-of-16 performance from long range to open a small 34-32 lead at the intermission.
The Bears converted on 20-of-25 free-throw attempts in the second frame, as they captured the eight-point win.
Baylor forced Oklahoma State into 22 turnovers in the game, while committing just 11 miscues itself.
