Springfield, MO (Sports Network) - Dale Lamberth scored 15 points off the bench to lead the Missouri State Bears to a 65-44 victory over the Indiana State Sycamores in a Missouri Valley Conference clash at the Hammons Student Center.
Spencer Laurie netted 12 points to go with six rebounds and seven assists in the win for Missouri State (10-8, 3-3 MVC). He also recorded six steals, as the Bears defeated Indiana State for the fifth straight time.
The Sycamores (9-7, 4-2) were led by Harry Marshall and his nine points and five rebounds.
Missouri State held Indiana State to a miserable 18.5 percent shooting from the floor during the first stanza, and they took a commanding 32-12 lead going into intermission.
The Bears cruised through the second stanza, hitting 45.8 percent from the field in the 21-point victory.
The Sycamores shot a dismal 26.9 percent from the floor in the loss, including 5-of-20 from long distance.
