Niagara, NY (Sports Network) - Charron Fisher poured in a game-high 32 points and also grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Niagara Purple Eagles to an 80-63 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tilt at the Gallagher Center.
Benson Egemonye added 18 points and eight rebounds for Niagara (11-4, 5-1 MAAC), while Anthony Nelson contributed nine points, six rebounds and six assists.
Antoine Pearson and Nick Walsh both tallied 11 points apiece for Manhattan (8-8, 2-4), while Laurence Jolicoeur chipped in 10 points.
The Purple Eagles shot 51.9 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a 39-21 lead.
In the second stanza Niagara was a perfect 14-of-14 from the foul line and went on to capture a 17-point win.
The Purple Eagles made 20-of-21 attempts from the foul line in the contest, while Manhattan connected on only 11-of-17 shots from the charity stripe.
