Jamaica, NY (Sports Network) - Dar Tucker scored 16 points to lead the DePaul Blue Demons to a 60-54 win over the St. John's Red Storm in Big East Conference action from Carnesecca Arena.
The Blue Demons (7-8, 3-1 Big East) also received 10 points apiece from Mac Koshwal and Draelon Burns, while Wesley Green chipped in with nine points and 12 rebounds in the win.
The Red Storm (7-8, 1-3) were paced by Justin Burrell who tallied 18 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Mason Jr. also got involved, scoring 11 points and dishing out six assists.
Despite shooting just 9-of-30 from the floor in the first half, St John's managed to take a 24-21 lead into the break.
DePaul stormed back in the second stanza, shooting 58.3 percent from the field en route to a six-point come-from-behind victory.
The Blue Demons' bench was the difference in this contest, as DePaul's reserves outscored the Red Storm bench 22-12 on the day.
