Niagara, NY (Sports Network) - Edwin Ubiles scored a team-high 28 points as the Siena Saints picked up a 94-84 win over the Niagara Purple Eagles in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the Gallagher Center.

Ubiles made 4-of-6 shots from three-point range on the night for the Saints (9-6, 4-1 MAAC) and was 11-of-14 from the field overall as the squad won for the second time in the last three outings. Tay Fisher and Ronald Moore both contributed 18 points and Alex Franklin 12 off the bench.

The Purple Eagles (10-4, 4-1) were paced by Charron Fisher, the nation's leading scorer entering the week, who tallied 31 points and cleared seven rebounds as the team had a six-game win streak halted. Benson Egemonye registered a double-double with 17 points and a career-high 13 boards, followed by Anthony Nelson and Stanley Hodge with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Despite shooting a strong 54.8 percent from the field, including 4-of-7 behind the three-point line in the first half, Siena led by just a basket at the break, 38-36.

In the second half not only did the Saints convert 51.7 percent from the floor and 8-of-12 out on the perimeter, the unit also knocked down 18-of-24 at the charity stripe in the 10-point triumph.

Siena, which led by as many as 21 points in the second half, held Niagara to just 39.2 percent shooting from the field and 6-of-27 behind the three-point line.
