Hanover, NH (Sports Network) - Alex Barnett scored a game-high 21 points as the Dartmouth Big Green posted a 73-56 win over the Harvard Crimson in Ivy League action at Leede Arena.
DeVon Mosley added 17 points and six rebounds for Dartmouth (6-8, 1-1 Ivy) as it snapped a four-game slide with the victory.
Harvard (6-12, 1-1), which had a brief two-game win streak halted, was paced by Jeremy Lin and Evan Harris who both dropped in 16 points in the setback on the road.
Dartmouth scored the first points of the contest and never looked back, leading by 10 points at the end of the first half, 36-26, on the strength of 57.1 percent shooting from the field.
The Crimson managed to cut the deficit to just six points in the second half, but in the end Harvard could not survive just 1-of-8 shooting behind the three- point line in the frame, eventually bowing in the 17-point decision.
The visitors shot just 3-of-16 behind the three-point line on the night and turned the ball over 17 times, resulting in 16 points for the home team.
