Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Jordan Pleiman scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Wright State Raiders to a 66-55 win over the Youngstown State Penguins in a Horizon League battle at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.
Vaughn Duggins also added 16 points for the Raiders (9-5, 2-3 HL), while Scottie Wilson chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.
YSU (6-9, 2-3) was paced by John Barber and Byron Davis who each scored 13 points in the loss.
WSU was hot in the first half, shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, to take a 35-31 lead at the break.
The Raiders pulled away in the second stanza, knocking down 11-of-25 field goal attempts to capture the 10-point win.
Wright state controlled the post, outscoring YSU 20-14 in the paint.
