NCAA Game Summary - Eastern Kentucky at Morehead State
Morehead, KY (Sports Network) - John Lamb scored 18 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the floor to lead the Morehead State Eagles to a 62-53 win over the Eastern Kentucky Colonels in an Ohio Valley Conference tilt at Johnson Arena.
Maze Stallworth also had a big night for the Eagles (5-9, 3-4 OVC), scoring 15 points, while Kenneth Faried added 11 points and seven rebounds. Nikola Stojakovic ran the show, dishing out 11 assists in the win.
EKU (6-9, 3-4) was led by Darnell Dialls who scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field. Mike Rose and Adam Leonard also got involved, adding 15 points apiece in the loss.
The Colonels shot just 8-of-17 from the floor in the first half, to take a 21-18 lead at the break.
The Eagles stormed back in the second stanza, shooting 63.6 percent from the floor en route to a nine-point victory.
The MSU bench was the difference in this contest, outscoring the EKU reserves 25-4 on the night.
