Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Reggie Jackson scored 15 points to lead four Duquesne starters in double figures, as the Dukes notched a 74-62 win over the Fordham Rams in Atlantic 10 action at the Palumbo Center.
Shawn James collected 14 points and seven rebounds for the Dukes (11-3, 1-0 A-10), who improve to 7-1 at home this season. Aaron Jackson tallied 12 points and eight rebounds, while Damian Saunders finished with 10 points and nine boards.
Sebastian Greene notched a double-double for Fordham (6-7, 0-1), as the forward registered 20 points and 10 rebounds. Bryant Dunston also recorded a double- double with 20 points and 10 boards.
Duquesne jumped out to a 40-26 halftime lead, after holding the Rams to 34.5- percent shooting in the first half.
The Dukes expanded their lead to as many as 21 with just under five minutes to play, despite 39-percent shooting from the floor in the second stanza.
James swatted away three shots to give him 60 for the season, forcing a tie with Derrick Alston for the school's single-season record.
